wHAT A DAY!
With collection 1 (Te Awhi Rito) nearly complete, and collection 2 (Te Muka) just starting, we warmly invited whānau and community to find out more about this exciting project, set to bring new energy and connections to Flaxmere Village Centre. It was an action-packed afternoon, with plenty of energy and positive vibes. The showhome was very popular: fantastic to see such high interest, and pretty special to see community neighbours checking it all out too.

What:
A fun afternoon for the whole whānau: free sausage sizzle, ice cream truck and coffee cart, plus plenty of free activities for the kids: get all the energy out on our bouncy castle and show your skills at our pop-up fitness pod. Walk the site, meet the teams, and tour the first of our completed homes to understand the quality on offer. Our build partner (TW Group) and whānau housing partner Ka Uruora will be on hand to answer any queries too. Whether you need a brand new affordable rental, would love to know more about shared ownership, or are ready to buy your own home smack-bang in the heart of Flaxmere, Te Rito welcomes you.

Event central is located on Collection 4 (Te Aho). This is where you'll find our food stalls, fun kids activities, booths for our project partners and our pop-up fitness pod. You can also share your ideas for the future Tuivaiti Reserve, which is located across the road at the centre of Te Rito.
From event central, it's just a short walk to the our beautiful Showhome, located in Collection 1, Te Awhi Rito (on the corner of Caernarvon Drive and Ratima Avenue). See the standard of what is being created at Te Rito, and talk to the teams from Ka Uruora or TW Property about the various opportunities coming up.
