ACCESSING A HOME
You need to be registered with Tamatea Pōkai Whenua and Te Ahu Urupūtea - our free financial literacy workshop via Ka Uruora to be eligible for one of the 70 homes being created for whānau, including these 15 homes in our first collection, Te Awhi Rito, and the 21 homes coming soon in Collection 3: Te Rau Tūpuna, launching in July 2026.
Eligibility criteria does apply for each of the pathways available through Ka Uruora, so check out our Questions and Answers about the homes for a helpful explanation of the work that Ka Uruora does and how they might support you at Te Awhi Rito. It is our pleasure to introduce you to Collection 1: Te Awhi Rito, the first homes to be built in Flaxmere's newest quality neighbourhood: Te Rito.
